DESIGN

Shaped by Mazda's Kodo 'Soul of Motion' design philosophy, the 2026 CX-5 features seamless body lines flowing front to rear — creating a silhouette that captures movement even in stillness. Redesigned rear doors improve everyday access, while an expanded interior adds 4.5 inches of rear legroom, knee room, and headroom alongside increased cargo space. Available ambient lighting in the front door trim creates a calm, refined atmosphere. Premium leather and leatherette options bring a hotel-suite quality to every journey.

PERFORMANCE

The 2026 CX-5 is powered by a Skyactiv-G 2.5L four-cylinder engine delivering 187 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Standard i-Activ AWD and G-Vectoring Control Plus work seamlessly together — distributing power and adjusting weight transfer for confident, composed handling in any condition. Fuel efficiency reaches up to 7.7 L/100 km highway.

TECHNOLOGY

Stay connected and in control with a 12.9-inch full-colour touchscreen featuring Google Built-in — including Google Maps and Google Assistant — complimentary for one year. The GT Premium upgrades to a 15.6-inch display, the largest ever offered in a Mazda vehicle. A 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster, wireless Qi phone charging, and a one-year trial of Mazda Connected Services keep every drive effortless. The 2026 CX-5 is available in four trim levels, each with standard i-Activ AWD:

GX — 17-inch grey metallic alloy wheels, 12.9-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in, Blind Spot Monitoring
GS — Adds 19-inch machined alloy wheels, power liftgate with programmable height, leatherette/cloth seats, 10-way power driver's seat, Active Driving Display
GT — Adds Bose® 12-speaker premium audio, leather-trimmed seats, hands-free power liftgate, ambient door lighting with colour selection
GT Premium — Adds 15.6-inch touchscreen, 360° View Monitor, Drive Personalization System with facial recognition, Cruise & Traffic Support with Lane-Change Assist
